Delicious Organic Free Range Chicken Soup Recipe

As colder weather blows in, it’s nice to enjoy a healthy warm meal to heat you right up. This organic, free range chicken soup recipe is so healthy that even your dog will benefit greatly from it! I cook this every week for my family, and that includes our two huge bull mastiffs. Compared to other dogs their age, they are at a much higher state of health, and a big reason for that is what they eat matters. That goes for us humans, too. What we eat matters, and even how we cook it matters. This recipe will show you what you need to cook a delicious meal, and how to cook it.

Ingredient List:

  • 1 full organic, free range chicken. We will cook the entire chicken, skin and bones, but remove any excess fatty chunks you find first.
  • 3/4 of the crock pot filled with filtered water after the chicken has been placed in it.
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup organic coconut oil from a glass jar
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root
  • 1 inch fresh turmeric root
  • 3 tablespoons of fresh basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary (2 tbsp. if dried)
  • 3 crushed bay leaves
  • organic tomatoes – about 1 inch sizes
  •  2 tablespoons Himalayan sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground RAINBOW pepper corns
  • 2 beet roots cut in 1/2 inch sizes
  • organic carrot
  • 2 sweet potatoes, 2 yams cut in 1 inch sizes
  • 4 celery stocks cut in 1/4 inch sizes
  • organic zucchini’s
  • organic yellow squash cut in large 1 inch sizes
  • 3 bok choys cut in 1/2 inch sizes
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup fresh watercress

Cooking Directions:

1. First combine the free range chicken through rainbow pepper, beats and carrots. Have the crock pot on high for the 1st hour.

2. Turn the crock pot to low and add the sweet potatoes and yams.

3. In 2 more hours add the zucchini and squash.

4. On the 7th hour, add the rest (bok choy to watercress), cook 1 more hour.

5. Total cook time will be 8 hours.

6. Take the chicken out and put it in a separate container

7. De-bone the chicken right before serving.

8. Give the people or dog 1 cup of broth and mash 1/2 cup of assortment of vegetables, add 2 pieces of de-boned chicken.

Always make sure that dogs have their vegetables mashed up before serving. NEVER add onions to food your dog will eat, it can kill your dog! No regular potatoes, if green or with eyes they can make your dog very sick.

Be sure the yams and sweet potatoes have NO black spots. If they do, peel them off before cooking. The black spots can contain a very toxic aflatoxin, a mold that can produce cancer.
