Monday, November 12th was the start of our 4th annual community drive. HoPe Day (helping other people and pets eat) was a tremendous success. Over the course of the day, patients and even non-patients donated food items for both people and pets. The response was so overwhelming we had to start stacking the food underneath and around the table we displayed it on.
This coming Thursday, November 15th we are having Share The Warmth Day. Grace Resource Center is desperately in need of warm coats this winter season, and so far we have collected over a dozen warm coats to donate. We hope to further increase that number on Thursday. We are also collecting blankets and towels for Lancaster Animal Shelter and AV Animal Services.
We will be accepting donations for non-perishable food items, blankets, warm coats, and towels until the end of this week.
